I use Square to accept all major credit cards, including, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. I also accept any bank debit cards that feature one of the above logos.
In some instances, yes, I am able to accept insurance as a primary payment for massage sessions. See “Medical Insurance and Massage” for more information.
In short, yes.
The online scheduler requires a 4 hour advance notice. This advanced notice gives me an opportunity to finish with my current client, get the notification, and allow sufficient prep and travel time.
If you require an emergency appointment for an acute injury, such as active spasms or potentially torn muscles, please use the contact form to request an emergency appointment. I will do my best to accommodate your request.
In short, if you live within 50 miles of Kansas City, MO, yes.
Check out my Mobile Massage Service Areas page.
If you wish to book back-to-back sessions (additional people at the same location), choose the time you would like for the first session to begin and include a note in the booking that you are booking back-to-back appointments.
Then select the very next available appointment slot and enter the additional client information. Repeat for each additional session.
My online appointment scheduler automatically reserves travel time after a mobile massage session.
I will review the schedule and confirm that the sessions do not conflict with another appointment and adjust the session start times to remove the travel time. If there is a conflict, I will notify you to adjust accordingly.
It’s super easy to book a mobile massage therapy in the Greater Kansas City area appointment with me. There is an appointment selector in the sidebar on every page of this website. There is also a “Book Appointment” button in the menu. You can also follow this link: Book a Mobile Massage in Kansas City with Aaron Harris CMT.
While I am sympathetic that things happen that can cause you to have to cancel without sufficient notice or not show up, the time that you reserved was set aside for your care and blocked other clients from scheduling an appointment. This means lost income and in the event of no-shows, I’ve actually incurred costs to load my gear, sit in traffic, and travel to your home.
Appointments can be cancelled without penalty up to 24 hours in advance. No-shows and late cancellations are subject to a charge equal to the full cost of the appointment, either to the credit card used to secure the appointment reservation, or via an invoice.
Please note: rescheduling an appointment less than 24 hours in advance may be counted as a cancellation.

There is an extensive post “What to Expect at Our First Appointment” that should answer your questions.
Regardless of the modality (type of massage) you have selected for your mobile massage session, you should wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing that allows for full range-of-motion of your arms and legs.
Examples of appropriate clothing include:
- Gym shorts
- Tank tops
- Yoga pants
- Sweatpants
Many modalities will require some level of disrobing. For these massage sessions you will be ethically draped, exposing only the body part that is being worked on.
